Maintenance
70 Maintenance every 10 operating hours
Checking the oil level in the travel, working
and steering hydraulics
– The above mentioned assembly groups have a common oil
household.
– With the loading equipment lowered the bottom oil level inspec-
tion glass must be filled, the top oil level inspection glass must
not show any oil.
Note:
With increasing oil temperature (max. 80 °C / 176 °F) the oil
level can raise up to the middle of the top oil level inspection
glass.
– To top up oil unscrew the cov er (A) and fill in oil through the
filter.
– For quality of oil refer to the lubrication chart.
– Screw the cover back on.
Cleaning and changing the air filter
– Only if the control light in the dash board lights up the filter
must be immediately cleaned or, if necessary, replaced.
– The air filter service intervals depend on the amount of dust in
the air and can therefore not be determined precisely.
– Under extremely dusty conditions daily clean may be required.
Check the air lines (filter - engine) for leaks during every main-
tenance. Replace defective parts, tighten loose hose clamps.
Dust discharge valve
– Empty the dust discharge valve (A) by squeezing the discharge
slot together.
– Remove possible dust deposits by squeezing the upper part of
the v alv e.
Dry cleaning: Main cartridge (B)
Temporarily:
– Bang the filter cartridge several times with the front face
vertically against the palm of your hand or against a flat and
soft surface.
– Avoid damaging or denting of the front face of the car-
tridge.
