SPECIFIC DEVICE OPERATIONS
DOORBELL
After you have registered an Audio Doorbell (VS013)
to your 18450 telephone base, you can follow the
instructions below to congure your doorbell.
The doorbell helps you get notied at your telephone
system upon visitors’ arrival. When the doorbell is
chimed, it sends an alert to your telephone. The handsets
(and your VS014 Extension Ringer if one is paired) will
play the chime tone.
Under Device Setup menu, you can change the doorbell
chime volume and tone, select whether the answering
machine records the doorbell conversation, and
congure the call divert settings.
Chime Volume
1. Press MENU/OK when the phone is not in use, and
then press
/ to scroll to SET DEVICE.
2. Press MENU/OK to select DOORBELL.
3. Press MENU/OK to choose CHIME.
4. Press MENU/OK to choose CHIME VOLUME.
5. Press MENU/OK and then press
/ to adjust the
chime volume.
6. Press MENU/OK to save.
