It is essential to maintain the engine as detailed in the engine manual. Service recommendations will
vary depending on your engine type, refer to your engine manual for this information.
Any information relating to the engine in the following table is intended as a guide only.
Refer to the Pre Start Up section for maintenance that should be completed before starting the Dingo
(each and every time).
Maintenance Schedule

Every 25 Hours All Check hydraulic oil level and check for external leaks. Page
Check bushes and pins replace if required. Page
First 50 Hours Diesel Change engine oil and filter. Engine Manual
All Check hydraulic pressures.
Every 50 Hours All Check hydraulic oil level and check for external leaks
Check hydraulic hoses connections tighten if required.
Check tyre pressures.
Change air cleaner element if required. See Note 1.
Check for fuel leaks.
Check battery fluid level and terminals.
Tighten wheel nuts.
Test all functions of operation.
Petrol Clean spark plugs replace id necessary.
Every 100 Hours All Change engine oil and filter.
Change fuel filter/s.
Change air cleaner element if required. See Note 1.
Check battery fluid level and terminals.
Diesel
Check fan belt condition and tension.
Check radiator hoses and coolant level.
Clean radiator fins.
Every 500 Hours All Change hydraulic oil filter and oil clean hydraulic tank. Engine Manual
Remove any sediment from fuel tank.
Have the starter motor serviced. See Note 2.
Have valve clearances checked. See Note 2.
Diesel
Drain and flush the radiator replace coolant additive.
Engine Manual
Have the fuel injector nozzles checked See Note 2.
Have the fuel injection timing checked. See Note 2.
Note 1 : More frequently in dusty/dirty areas. IMPORTANT : Refer air filter section on page :16.
Note 2 : An authorised dealer of your engine type should perform these tasks.
