6 FAULT LOCATION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
6.1 TROUBLE SHOOTING AND SOLUTION
Problem Cause Solution
Pressure drop of
outlet uid.
Ball blocked on the seat – passage
clogging
Disassemble and clean
Air leakage from piloting air
feeding circuit (where foreseen)
Check connections and piloting air pipes.
Fluid outlet pressure
increases until
reaching the level
of the uid inlet
pressure
Valve ball and seat are worn or
clogged
Broken diaphragm.
Clean both ball and seat. Replace worn or
damaged parts.
Fluid leakage from
regulator body or
uid going up from
piloting air inlet.
Broken diaphragm Replace diaphragms.
If the problem is not listed above consult your WAGNER Service Center.
6.2 MAINTENANCE
1. Check and clean the lter every day or as required.
2. Check and replace if necessary hoses, tubes, couplings every days.
WAGNER recommends to check the whole spray system every year from a technical expert
(e.g. WAGNER service technician).
