Low Frequency Oscillators (LFO)
In addition to the main oscillators, the Q is equipped with three low frequency oscillators that can be
used for modulation purposes. Each LFO generates a periodic waveform with adjustable frequency
and shape.
Low Frequency Oscillator Panel Controls
The following picture of the Q’s front panel shows the LFO section:

The most commonly used controls of the LFO can be found on the front panel.
Selecting a LFO on the Q Rack
Press one or more LFO Select buttons to select one or more LFO on the Q Rack to be edited with the
Panel Controls.
Shape Sine / Triangle / Square / Saw / Random / S & H
Sets the type of waveform generated by the respective LFO. The following picture shows the available
shapes:
Square
S&H
Random
Triangle
Sawtooth
Sine

The Sine shape is best suited for oscillator FM or pan modulations.
The Triangle shape is perfect for smooth pitch, filter or volume modulations.
The Square shape can be interesting for hard pan modulations or special effects.
