4.4 Roller Feed Control Bar
WARNING!
Risk of serious injury or death. Keep hands, feet
and clothing away from feed rollers when the
chipper is operating. Do not climb onto the feed
table or hopper.

The Feed Roller Control Bar on the back of the hopper controls
the material feed into the chipper. The control bar has four
positions—Stop, Forward, Reverse, Stop. Decals on the side
of the feed table indicate feed control bar operation.
The control bar can be moved freely between Forward and
Reverse.

4.4.1 STOP Positions
Stop the feed rollers at any time by pushing the control bar
fully forward or pulling it fully rearward.
• Push the control bar fully forward (towards the feed table)
into the maximum detent position to stop the feed roller.
