• Log/RD: Stores measurements in the memory and deletes memory registers.
The top of the SMP holds the field probe connector, the GPS antenna and the On /Off switch.

• Probe Connector: The probe connector is a push-pull connector.
• On / Off Switch: Switches the equipment on and off.
The bottom of the SMP holds the other connections of the equipment..

• Mini USB connector: Allows connection to a PC for 2 functions:
o Download data stored in the SMP memory.
o Update firmware for the equipment.
• Battery charger connector: Allows the SMP battery to be recharged using the charger
supplied with the equipment.
