4 GETTING STARTED
4.1 Overview
The front panel of the SMP contains the user interface, made up of the screen and keypad

• Menu: Opens the configuration menu.
• : Arrows allow you to move through the menu options and the data stored in
memory. Also they allow to change from electric to magnetic field and range high or low
(or vice-versa)
• Enter: Accepts options on the Menu, Memory and Memorised Data screens. Also block or
unblock field value visualization in main screen see 5.2
• Back: Exits from the Menu, Memory and Memorised Data screens. In the main screen
reset Max, Min and Avg fields to 0.
• Memory: Access to the Memory screen, which shows the memory data registers and their
content.
• Alarm: Switches the alarm on and off.
