WARNING: As for any mechanical component, a power-
assisted bicycle is subject to high stress and will wear out.
The different materials and components can react
differently to wear or ageing. If the expected service life of
a component has been exceeded, it may suddenly break,
presenting a risk of injury to the cyclist. Cracks, scratches
and discolouration in areas subject to high stress indicate
that the component has exceeded its service life and must
be replaced.
Recommendation: safe use and safety tips:
Before using your power-assisted bicycle, make sure that it is in good
working order. Pay particular attention to the following points:
• The riding position is comfortable.
• Nuts, screws, quick-release parts and components are properly
