4 Installation instructions
4.1 General
■
Thoroughly read and understand this manual before
installation.
■
Do not add any other parts or modify the product in
the installation.
■
Consult Webasto or the local distributor in case of
unusual applications or installation conditions that
are not specifically covered by this manual.
WARNING
In case a heater exhaust pipe is mounted
through the roof nearby the A/C unit then
the exhaust pipe needs to be extended
10cm above the A/C unit.
4.2 Installation requirements
■
The vehicle roof shall be able to support the weight
of the air conditioner.
■
The minimum thickness of roof is 25mm; the maxi-
mum thickness of roof is 85mm.
■
The roof shall be level and smooth.
4.3 Different cut-out sizes
The standard scope of delivery is supplied with an
adaptor to suit a a 360x360 mm cut-out.
If a larger cut-out is preferred, it is possible to
purchase as an optional extra a 400x400 mm
adaptor.
