5.2.2 Intake Manifold Disassembly Procedure
1. loosen the fastening bolt of the mix air joint pipe and the joint block, remove the mixer joint
pipe and the gasket.
2. loosen the fastening bolt of the throttle, remove the joint block.
3. loosen the fastening bolt of the air intake elbow, remove the throttle and gasket
4. Remove the air intake elbow and the gasket.
5. loosen the fastening bolt, remove the air intake pipe.
6. Remove the air intake pipe coverć
5.2.3 Intake Manifold Assembly
Reverse the Disassembly Procedure to assemble the intake pipe. Recommended tightening torque
for the nuts bolting the intake pipe to the engine block is 23Nm.
5.2.4 Intake Manifold Inspection and Maintenance
1. Check the intake manifold for weld defects. Replace the pipe if necessary.
2. Check the intake pipe gaskets for damage and tears. Replace the gaskets if necessary.
