Purpose
If you will not be needing the core temperature probe for the cooking sequence you will be using, make sure to put it away.
Not doing so may result in the probe being damaged.
Putting away the core temperature probe

Put the core temperature probe inside the holder.
Removing the core temperature probe
1.
Risk of stab wounds posed by sharp parts

Exercise care when handling the core temperature probe.
Pull the core temperature probe out from the holder.
