4 Safety
4.9 Personnel responsibility
Basic requirements
P  P Only persons who can be expected to observe the safety regulations
and perform their work reliably may enter the danger zone.
P  P Personswhoseabilitytoactisinuencedbydrugs,alcohol,medica-
tion or similar are not permitted.
P  P When selecting personnel, the age and occupation-specic regula-
tions applicable at the place of use must be observed.
P  P The user must be at least 16 years old.
Qualications
As a matter of principle, persons may only perform actions for which they
havethenecessaryqualications.
Qualied personnel for installation and commissioning
Due to their technical training, knowledge and experience as well as
knowledge of the relevant regulations, these persons are capable of car-
rying out the work assigned to them and of independently recognising
and avoiding hazardous situations.
Service personnel for maintenance and commissioning
Due to their technical training, knowledge and experience as well as
knowledge of the relevant regulations, they are able to carry out the
work assigned to them and to recognise and avoid possible dangers inde-
pendently.
Qualied electrician for maintenance, installation and commissioning
Due to their technical training, knowledge and experience as well as
knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations, electricians are
able to carry out work on electrical components and to independently
recogniseandavoidpossibledangers.Thequaliedelectricianistrained
forthespecicsiteinwhichheisworkingandknowstherelevantstand-
ards and regulations.
Instructed operating personnel for operation
Has been instructed by the operating company on the tasks assigned to
them and possible dangers in case of improper behaviour.
