The Whale Instant Match® with Bluetooth® wireless technology Kit (SDP134T) is a pumped shower drainage system designed to efficiently remove waste water from shower areas, particularly in installations where gravity drainage is not feasible or sufficient. This kit is a market leader in its category, known for its reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.

Function Description:

The core function of the Whale Instant Match® system is to pump shower waste water. It utilizes a Bluetooth® wireless technology control unit that monitors the flow rate of water into the shower via a flow sensor. Based on these signals, the control unit adjusts the pump speed to match the incoming water flow, thereby minimizing suction noise at the gulley. When the shower is turned off, the flow sensor signals the control unit, and after a pre-set time delay, the pump switches off. An additional feature is a purge cycle: 15 minutes after the shower is turned off, the pump automatically switches on for a short period at a reduced speed to remove any residual run-off water pooled in the shower area, ensuring the area remains dry. The pump is designed to run dry without sustaining damage, and non-return valves in the pump head prevent unpleasant smells from entering the bathroom from the waste pipe.

Usage Features:

Automatic Operation: The system automatically activates and adjusts pump speed based on shower water flow, and deactivates after a pre-set delay once the shower is off.
Purge Cycle: An automatic 30-second pump activation at a lower flow rate 15 minutes after the shower is used, to clear residual water and keep the shower area dry.
Optional External Pump Overrun Switch: A retractive switch (available separately) can be installed outside the wet area to manually activate the pump for 15 seconds at full speed, useful for cleaning or ritual cleansing.
Bluetooth® Wireless Technology: Enables wireless communication between the transformer and compatible Mira Advance Flex Extra (J09N) showers for seamless operation.
Hardwired Connection Option: For installations where wireless communication is not ideal, the system can be hardwired to the Mira Advance Flex Extra (J09N) shower.
