7.Faults
Personnel: Skilled personnel
CAUTION!
Physical injuries and damage to property and the
environment
If faults cannot be eliminated by means of the listed
measures, the instrument must be taken out of operation
immediately.
Ensure that there is no longer any pressure present and
protect against being put into operation accidentally.
Contact the manufacturer.
If a return is needed, please follow the instructions given in
chapter 8.2 “Return”.

Faults Causes Measures
Nopointermovementde-
spite change in pressure.
Movement blocked. Replace instrument.
Pressure element defective.
Pressure port blocked.
After depressurisation,
the pointer remains just
abovethezeropoint.
Friction in the movement. Tap lightly on the case.
Instrument was overloaded. Replace instrument.
Material fatigue of the
pressure element.
