What to do if my Wintriss Indoor Furnishing unit is in 'reset required' condition?
    • C
      charrisonAug 18, 2025
If the Wintriss Indoor Furnishing unit is in a 'reset required' condition, take the following steps: 1. Turn the reset keyswitch to Reset. 2. Power down the unit, then power it back up, and turn the reset keyswitch to Reset again. 3. Ensure that the 115 V/230V switch inside the control is set correctly. 4. Verify that both jumpers at J12 (1 SET vs. 2 SET designation) are set correctly. 5. Check for any loose output relays and tighten the ty-wraps if needed. 6. Confirm that the factory-installed jumper at TB4 (stop outputs terminal block) is intact and not loose. 7. Check the relays for being weld shut or stuck open.

What to do if my Wintriss Indoor Furnishing machine will not start?
    • C
      coopershawnAug 21, 2025
If the Wintriss Indoor Furnishing machine will not start, first check the following: 1. Inspect the three output fuses (F2, F3, or F4) and replace any that have failed. 2. Check the three output relays for an OPEN state (high resistance) and replace any faulty ones. 3. If you're not utilizing the MPCE or transmitter interrupt inputs, ensure the appropriate jumpers are correctly positioned at TB4. 4. If you are using any of the inputs mentioned above, the user interfacing relay circuit(s) should be CLOSED. If any user interfacing relay circuit is OPEN, replace the relay or repair the circuit as necessary.

What to do if Wintriss Indoor Furnishing machine will not start (Scenario 2)?
    • A
      Alexis MullinsAug 23, 2025
If the Wintriss Indoor Furnishing machine will not start, and you have an external Transmitter interrupt circuit, check to ensure it's operating correctly and repair if needed. If you don't have an external Transmitter Interrupt circuit, inspect the XT INT (transmitter interrupt) jumper on lower TB4, between pins 19 and 20, to confirm it's correctly installed and not loose. If the issue persists, contact Wintriss Tech Support.

What does it mean if receiver is “green” but control box is “red” on Wintriss Indoor Furnishing?
    • J
      Joseph HuffmanSep 4, 2025
If the receiver of your Wintriss Indoor Furnishing shows a green light, but the control box shows a red light, check the wiring at the control box terminal block (TB2) that connects to the receiver. Using a digital voltmeter, measure the AC voltage between the outputs and ground: for Set #1, measure between pins 4 & 7 and 5 & 7; for Set #2, measure between pins 11 & 14 and 12 & 14. The voltage in each case should be between 5.1 and 5.2 volts. If the voltage is 0, the receiver connector might be cross-threaded; unscrew and replug the receiver quick-connect cable, then remeasure the voltage. If the voltage remains 0, replace the cable. If none of these steps work, the receiver may have a hardware failure, and you should contact Wintriss Tech Support for a replacement.

What to do if the transmitter has no power in Wintriss Indoor Furnishing?
    • J
      James BauerSep 9, 2025
If the transmitter of your Wintriss Indoor Furnishing has no power or isn't functioning, first check the transmitter wiring. Also, check if the transmitter and receiver wiring is reversed. If you cannot trace the cables, consult the section that immediately follows Table 4-2 for further guidance.
