Install the sweepers and sawhead stops

8. With the sawhead at the head of the bed, (either end may be designated as the head) attach two lower segments of the
catch rail. (See FIG. 3-13 .)
9. Move the carriage toward the foot of the bed and install
the last segment of the catch rail, using M10-1.5x30 bolts.

3.5 Install the sweepers and sawhead
stops
The tools needed are:
Socket, 15mm
Ratchet handle
Screwdriver
Ratchet extension bar (optional)
Combination wrench, 15mm
1. Install the sawdust rail sweepers on the front sides of
both carriages. Make sure that the sweepers contact the
rails. (See FIG. 3-14 .)
NOTE: Stop blocks must be attached
at both ends, head and foot, of the
track rail to prevent the sawhead from
sliding off the rails.
Failure to apply stop blocks to both
ends of the track rail may result in
serious injury or equipment damage.
2. Attach the stop blocks (X100-1275) on the outside surface
of the bed section at the head of the bed using M10-1.5x30
bolts. Tighten the nuts.

3.Repeat at the foot end of the rail.
3.6Install the operator’s handle
The tools needed are:
Sockets, 13mm
Ratchet handle
Ratchet handle extension (optional)
Bolt, M10-1.5x30
