Management
The Freedom XC has a built-in 30A transfer
relay (Freedom XC 1000) that connects the
inverter/charger output or AC input from the
AC generator to the loads. Because the usual
AC power sources such as small generators
often have limited current availability, having
the capability to manage your AC loads is
extremely valuable. The Freedom XC
provides a number of features to facilitate
this.
n The charger is power factor corrected to
use AC current as efficiently as
possible. Minimizing the AC current
used by the charger means more current
is available for your AC loads.
n The Freedom XC has a power share
feature which prioritizes your AC loads
by reducing the charge current and
maintaining the total input current to
less than the breaker setting.
