NOTE: The Ethernet connection to the FreeFlow DocuSP Print Server must be compatible with
the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.3 standard.
Operating system
The FreeFlow DocuSP Print Server platform uses the new Solaris 10 operating system. Solaris
10 is an open-standards based system that is the latest state-of-the-art offering from Sun
Microsystems. Solaris 10 provides performance, security, and compatibility improvements to the
customer’s complex networking environment.
