4. Plug the ADF cable into the ADF port on the back of the scanner. Make sure the cable is plugged in
securely. The ADF will not work if the cable is loose or not plugged in.
5. Slide the tray in so the pins seat into the holes on the ADF.
6. Swing the input tray up until it snaps into place.
7. When you’re finished assembling the scanner, place it on a level surface on your desk. If the
scanner is on an uneven surface, it may stall when scanning from the Flatbed.
