Configuring Authorization Settings
Setting the Authorization Method
1. In CentreWare Internet Services, click Properties>Login/Permissions/Accounting.
2. Click User Permissions.
3. In the upper right-hand corner, click the pencil icon.
4. Under User Permission Method, select an option.
5. Click Save.
Configuring Local Authorization Settings
When you configure local authorization, the printer references the user database for authorization
information for the authenticated user.
To configure local authorization:
• Add user information to the user information database.
• Configure User Permissions.
The User Permissions page in CentreWare Internet Services provides links to authorization configuration
settings.
1. In CentreWare Internet Services, click Properties>Login/Permissions/Accounting.
2. Click User Permissions.
Configuring Network Authorization Settings
When you configure network authorization, the printer references an authorization server for
authorization information for the authenticated user.
To configure network authorization:
• Provide information about your authorization server and configure authorization server settings.
• Configure User Permissions.
The User Permissions page in CentreWare Internet Services provides links to authorization configuration
settings.
