Performance Specifications
Power on: Approximately 4 minutes.
Print Speed
Maximum print speeds for 1-sided continuous printing on Plain media are 36 ppm for Letter (8.5 x 11 in.)
and 35 ppm for A4 (210 x 297 mm). Print speed slows with larger and heavier media.
Note: Print speeds are the same for Standard print-quality mode and High-Resolution print-quality
mode.
Several factors affect print speed:
• Paper weight: Lightweight prints faster than heavier paper, such as Cardstock and Labels.
• 2-sided printing: The maximum print speeds for 2-sided continuous printing are 24 ppm for Letter
(8.5 x 11 in.) and 23 ppm for A4 (210 x 297 mm).
• Paper size. Letter (8.5 x 11 in.) and A4 (210 x 297 mm) sizes share the fastest print speed. Larger
sizes reduce print speeds.
