S2 CURRENT LIMIT (CL) CURRENT TRIP (CT) SELECT
CURRENT LIMIT: When load current exceeds the current program or control
setting the unit regulates the current at the setting. (Constant Current).
CURRENT TRIP: When load current exceeds the current program or control setting the HV
output will trip and latch off. Reset is by pressing the front panel STANDBY switch or
toggling the AC power switch (Local mode), or by toggling the HV enable signal (Remote
mode).
NOTE: Units ship with the S2 switch set to CL Mode.
J1 RS232 DB9 CONNECTOR
(See INTERFACE DIAGRAM FIG 10, Table 1, and figure below)
WARNING! Do not make or remove connections to this connector or any other
connector until power is off and the output has discharged.
J1 is a 9 pin female connector used to connect to a serial computer interface. A null modem
RS232 cable (approx. 3m/10ft) DB9 (male) to DB9 (female) is supplied for interconnection.
