PRESET Indicator:
Yellow (Amber) LED indicator that is lit whenever the displays are reading the
preset values.
SS SLOPE Pushbutton:
This sets the ramp time to the voltage program level upon pressing the HV ON
button. When in standby, press the PRESET pushbutton and then within 5 seconds
press the SS SLOPE pushbutton. The voltage display will now indicate ramp rate
and the current display will read “SEC” (seconds). The voltage encoder will set the
slope in seconds. The display will return to standard functions 5 seconds after no
further adjustments are made or if the HV ON or PRESET button is pressed. The
ramp time to the program value can be adjusted from 0 (no slow start ramp) to 31
seconds.
Both the PRESET and the SS SLOPE buttons must be pressed in sequence to enter
this adjustment mode. This will prevent accidental changing of setting. The slope
setting is automatically disabled when the HV is ON.
For “NC” option users the SS is an option that is non adjustable and the slope value
must be set at the factory.
FINE ADJ Pushbutton:
Momentarily pressing the button will increase the encoder controls resolution by a
factor of ten (from 0.25% to 0.025% per step) to allow more precise setting of the
output voltage and current levels.
Upon pressing the button the control encoders are set to fine resolution and remain in
the condition until the FINE ADJ button is again pressed to return the resolution to
coarse.
FINE ADJ Indicator:
Amber LED indicator that is lit whenever the unit is in fine adjust mode.
