Longer driveshafts 59mm Front/ 54mm Rear make the car easier to drive by creating more traction and better stability, felt mostly in chicanes.
However, the car will also understeer more than when using the shorter 58mm Front / 52mm Rear driveshafts that create more steering and
make the car more aggressive. Both left and right should ALWAYS be the same length at each end of the car (FL = FR; RR = RL).
59mm Front / 54mm Rear shafts are recommended for carpet tracks and large asphalt tracks.
58mm Front / 52mm Rear shafts are recommended for low-traction or tight asphalt tracks.

The optional ECS ball-bearing driveshafts feature a new ball-bearing assembly
at the inner end of the driveshaft where it inserts into the outdrive. The friction
between the driveshaft and the outdrive is greatly reduced, which gives smoother
handling especially on fast direction changes such as chicanes. The reduced friction
also helps to increase cornering speeds.
The new ball-bearing driveshafts must be used with optional:
#305138 SOLID AXLE ECS BB DRIVESHAFT ADAPTER - HUDY SPRING STEEL™ (2)
TIP
For easy installation of the #305241
plastic caps, use pliers as shown.
The CVD bearing driveshafts improve off-power steering and rotation, but decrease
rear traction and stability. Recommended for use in high-traction conditions, and for
tracks with many hairpin corners.
The new ball-bearing driveshafts must be used with optional:
