Calibration
evaluation
After calibrating, the meter automatically evaluates the calibration. Evaluated is
the deviation of the measurement result from the nominal value of the test (300
± 30 mg/l).

If necessary, assign further OxiTop
®
-IDS measuring heads to the sam-
ple (details: see section 5.1.2 T
HE COURSE OF THE MEASUREMENT) is
displayed.

If necessary, create more samples with measuring heads in the set
(details: see section 5.1.2 T
HE COURSE OF THE MEASUREMENT).

Start the calibration.

The measurement result is displayed after the BOD measurement is
completed.
Successful calibration Calibration unsuccessful
The measurement result is within the
tolerance of the nominal value
The measurement result is outside
the tolerance of the nominal value
The calibration date and the valid-
ity (365 days) are stored in the
IDS measuring head.
The measuring head is approved
for measurements with active
GLP function.
The measuring head is not
approved for measurements with
active GLP function.
If the GLP function is active, each IDS measuring head is checked
for a valid calibration prior before the sample is assigned to a sam-
ple (GLP).
If there is a valid calibration the measuring head is accepted.
If there is no valid calibration the measuring head is rejected.
