CTCSS TX Deviation
1. Tune the frequency to 440.050 MHz, then activate the
CTCSS encoder with a “100 Hz” tone, and set the trans-
mit power level to “LOW.”
2. Press the

mit power level to “LOW.”

To close the alignment mote, just turn the power off by rotating
the VOL knob fully counter clockwise. The next time the trans-
ceiver is turned on, normal operation may resume.
