Item Function
1 Steering Wheel The steering wheel controls the position of the steer tires.
2 Inching/Brake Pedal By varying the position of the inching/brake pedal, the operator can move the lift
truck slowly while a high engine speed is used for lifting loads. Completely depress-
ing the pedal disengages the transmission and applies the service brakes. The brake
lights will be on when the brake pedal is depressed during normal operation. On
units with a Foot Directional Control pedal, the engine can be started when the
inching/brake pedal is fully depressed or when the parking brake is applied.
