The buzzer sounds only when the remote
control lever is placed in neutral.
1. Stop the engine.
2. Remove the top cowling.
3. Disconnect the water detection switch
coupler. NOTICE: Be careful not to get
any water on the water detection
switch coupler, otherwise a malfunc-
tion could occur.

4. Remove the filter cup from the filter
housing, and then remove the O-ring
from the filter cup. NOTICE: Be careful
not to twist the water detection switch
lead when unscrewing the filter cup.
