When setting the frequency by analog reference from an external potentiometer, use shielded twisted-pair wires (preparing
wire ends as shown in Figure i.29) and connect the shield to the ground terminal of the drive.

NOTICE: The analog signal wiring between the drive and the operator station or peripheral equipment should not exceed 50 meters when
using an analog signal from a remote source to supply the frequency reference. Failure to comply could result in poor system performance.

Module Communications Connector
The module
communications connector port allows the transfer of information to enable turning on and operating drive models
4o0720 to 4o0930 and the harmonic filter module.
Note:
Connect the drive and harmonic filter module before turning on or operating models 4o0720 to 4o0930.
Refer to Drive Standard Connection Diagram (Example: Model 4
o
0720) on page 28 for more information on module
communications connector functions.

Module Communications Connector Locations
Connect drive models 4o0720 to 4o0930 to the harmonic filter module using the module communications connector cable
packaged with the harmonic filter module.
Connect one end of the cable to the module communications connector port CN500 of the drive and the other end of the cable
to the module communications connector port CN500 of the harmonic filter module.
Insert both ends of the cable then gently pull the cable to ensure a secure connection.
