    Why can't I change parameter settings on my YASKAWA Controller?

      If you cannot change parameter settings on your YASKAWA Controller, there might be several reasons: 1. The drive might be running the motor. Stop the drive and switch to Programming Mode. 2. A1-01 might be set to 0 [Access Level Selection = Operation Only]. Set A1-01 to 2 [Access Level Selection = Advanced Level]. 3. H1-xx might be set to 1B [MFDI Function Select = Program Lockout]. Turn on the terminals to which H1-xx = 1B has been assigned to change the parameters. Note that the parameters cannot be changed when these terminals are off. 4. You might have entered the wrong password. Re-enter the password in A1-04 [Password]. If forgotten, reset it using A1-04 and A1-05 [Password Setting]. Note that if the password has been set, parameters A1-01, A1-02, A1-03, A1-06, A1-07, and A2-01 ...
