Why is my YASKAWA Inverter showing main circuit overvoltage?

If the YASKAWA Inverter's main circuit DC voltage exceeds the overvoltage detection level, this could be due to a deceleration time that is too short, resulting in excessive regenerative energy from the motor. You can increase the deceleration time or connect a braking resistor (or Braking Resistor Unit). Alternatively, in vector control, enable the overvoltage inhibit selection (L3-11). Finally, the power supply voltage might be too high; decrease the voltage so it is within specifications.
