unmute the microphone or until the phone restarts. When you mute the phone in an idle state
or initiate a new call with mute on, the mute key LED glows red except on SIP-T40G/T40P IP
phone, and the mute icon appears on the Idle screen except the SIP-T42S/T42G/T41S/T41P IP
phone.
Note
Muting and Unmuting a Call
Procedure:
1. Press the MUTE key during an active call.
The mute key LED glows red except on the SIP-T40G/T40P IP phone. The LCD screen
indicates that the call is now muted.
2. Press the MUTE key again to unmute the call.
The mute key LED goes out except on the SIP-T40G/T40P IP phone.
Muting and Unmuting While Dialing
Procedure:
1. Press the MUTE key on the pre-dialing, dialing or calling screen.
The mute key LED glows red except on the SIP-T40G/T40P IP phone. The call is muted
automatically when set up successfully.
Keep Mute should be pre-configured by your system administrator.
