B. Clean the Chassis
(1) Intervals

Drain brake system. Pull the draw
ring of manual water drain valve
downwards to drain water.

Clean the fuel filter.
Clean the water tank.
Clean the air cleaner filter
element with compressed air from
the inside.

Clean the air cleaner filter
element.
C. Clean the Diesel Fuel Filter
(1) Clean the diesel fuel filter as follows:
(a) Put a container below the fuel filter drain plug.
(b) Loosen the air relief cock and remove the drain plug to drain fuel
and unwanted material from the filter bowl.
(c) Remove the long central treaded bolt and washer from the fuel filter
assembly. Remove the parts that follow:
• Fuel filter bowl
• Spring
• Spring seat
• Filter element
• Washer.
(d) Clean the parts from step (c) but do not clean the filter element.
