Follow the steps to overwrite the startup or backup configuration file.
1. In So urc e File , select the file to be used as a reference.
2. In De stina tion File , select the file to be overwritten.
3. Click Ap ply to restore to overwrite the destination file with the source file.
OR
Click Ca nc e l to discard the changes.
33.6 Re se t to Fa c to ry De fa ults
33.6.1 O ve rvie w
You can reset the Switch to it’s original settings.
Click Ma inte na nc e > C o nfig ura tion > Fa c tory De fa ult to display the screen as shown next. Use this screen
to reset the Switch back to factory defaults.

33.6.2 Re se t the Switc h to Fa c to ry De fa ults
Follow the steps below to reset the Switch back to factory defaults.
1. Click Re sto re .
2. Click OK to reset all Switch configurations to the factory defaults. Wait for the Switch to restart. This
takes up to 2 minutes.
OR
Click Ca nc e l to discard the changes.
Note: If you want to access the Switch Web Configurator again, you may need to change
the IP address of your computer to be in the same subnet as that of the default Switch
IP address (192.168.1.1).
