3 Set a managed AP to MON mode, and apply the MON profile.

2.2.2 Use Linux
1 Use the following command to set your WLAN card into monitor mode:
$ sudo ifconfig wlan0 down
$ sudo iwconfig wlan0 mode monitor
$ sudo ifconfig wlan0 up
$ sudo iwconfig wlan0 channel 11 (Change 11 to the channel you want to
use for capture)
