3G Statistics
27.1 Overview
Use the 3G Statistics screens to look at 3G Internet connection status.
27.2 The 3G Statistics Screen
To open this screen, click System Monitor > 3G Statistics. The 3G status is available on this
screen only when you insert a compatible 3G dongle in a USB port on the VMG.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Refresh
Interval
Select how often you want the VMG to update this screen. Select No Refresh to stop
refreshing.
3G Status This field displays the status of the 3G Internet connection. This field can display:
GSM - Global System for Mobile Communications, 2G
GPRS - General Packet Radio Service, 2.5G
EDGE - Enhanced Data rates for GSM Evolution, 2.75G
WCDMA - Wideband Code Division Multiple Access, 3G
HSDPA - High-Speed Downlink Packet Access, 3.5G
HSUPA - High-Speed Uplink Packet Access, 3.75G
HSPA - HSDPA+HSUPA, 3.75G
Service
Provider
This field displays the name of the service provider.
