You can order Wi-Fi
repeaters and powerline
adapters from the 1&1
shop. Log in with your
customer account and
click on Tarifergänzun-

Accessories to improve range
Wi-Fi repeater (smaller distances)
Wi-Fi repeaters receive the Wi-Fi signal emit-
ted by the 1&1 HomeServer, amplify it and
then transmit it to devices either via Wi-Fi or
(depending on the repeater) via LAN.
The Wi-Fi repeater must be positioned, so
that it can effectively receive the Wi-Fi signal
emitted by the 1&1 HomeServer (identified
by at least three LEDs illuminating on the
Wi-Fi repeater).
Powerline adapter (larger distances)
Powerline adapters relay data via the
household electricity grid. You need at least
two adapters - one receives the signal at
the 1&1 HomeServer and relays it via mains
electricity. The second adapter receives the
signal and transmits it to the device (e.g.
computer, 1&1 TV box) via a network cable
or Wi-Fi.
When using Powerline adapters, it is impor-
tant that the devices are plugged into the
same power circuit.
