For the serial-id parameter, specify the serial ID of the MAP. The serial ID
is listed on the MAP case. To display the serial ID using the CLI, use the
display version details command.
The serial ID of the AP2750 might be preceded by 4 digits and a slash
(example: 0100/). Do not enter these digits or the slash.
The model and radiotype parameters have the same options as they do
with the set port type ap command. Because the WX switch does not
supply power to an indirectly connected MAP, the set dap command
does not use the poe parameter.
The following example configures connections for two Distributed MAPs
that are indirectly connected to the WX. Note that when you create a
connection, you assign it a number that can be used later for displaying
and configuration, much like the physical ports for directly connected
MAPs:
WX1200# set dap 1 serial-id M9DE48B012F00 model mp-262
success: change accepted.
WX1200# set dap 2 serial-id M9DE48B123400 model mp-341
success: change accepted.
To verify the configuration change, use the following command:
display dap config [dap-num [radio {1 | 2}]]
