Your Extension’s Accessories
Your extension may be equipped for use with a headset.
This can allow you to process your calls using a headset, rather
with the handset.
This is especially useful for ICD group agents who process phone
calls all day long.
This section provides you with all of the instructions necessary to
install a headset.
Connecting a Headset
A headset is connected with a cord inserted into the RJ12 female
connector labelled HEADSET located on the underside of your
extension.
This cord may be installed so that it comes out of either the left or
right side of your extension, as illustrated below.
When it is necessary to disconnect a headset cord, it is recommended
that you use a screwdriver to depress the release tab on the RJ12
male connector.
