9. Pull down the upper draw rod (35) from the
bottom end of the bushing.

Remove the transport cover (45) from the
transformer (46) and the lower draw rod (4).

Lift the bushing to a position above the installation opening on the transformer.

4.5.2 Installation of the bushing on the transformer at site
Procedure
1. Apply locking fluid on the threads (39) on the
lower draw rod (4).
• If the bottom contact is removed from the
lower draw rod (4): apply locking fluid on the
threads (56).
Make sure that the guiding cone (62) is in
position.
CAUTION!
Make sure that all joints in the draw rod
are locked with thread-locking fluid.
NOTE!
Use thread-locking fluid grade 42 and
activator grade 47.
