5. Wait before energizing the bushing:
• If bubbles where not introduced into the transformer oil, wait one hour.
• If bubbles where introduced into the transformer oil, wait 12 hours.
CAUTION!
Flashovers and partial discharges can form in the bubbles, this can cause damage to the
bushing.
