External Pulse Generator (EPG) is an external trial generator that when connected to
trial neurosmulaon leads delivers therapeuc smulaon to parts of the body. The EPG communicates
wirelessly with system programmers and controllers.
The EPG header connects directly to the EPG for a neurosmulaon trial. The EPG header can hold one or
more leads or extensions with up to 16 electrodes total.
NOTE:
Paents may experience a sensaon of ngling, “pins and needles”, prickling, or even burning called
paresthesia. Paresthesia may be brief or it may last a long me.
For more informaon about the neurosmulaon system, see the clinician’s programming manual for this
system.
The EPG is supplied nonsterile and is intended to be used mulple mes. The EPG header is also supplied
nonsterile, but is single use only.
