Replacing the EPG Baeries
The EPG uses two nonrechargeable CR2450 coin cell baeries. Abbo Medical recommends replacing the
baeries before starng a new trial and only using the baeries included in the External Pulse Generator,
2 Port Header.
NOTE: Dispose of baeries safely. Do not treat them as household waste. Refer to the guidelines in
Appendix B (page 34) for more informaon.
To replace the baeries:
1. Disconnect the EPG header or mullead trial cable from the EPG if either is connected. Also, if the EPG1.
is communicang with the clinician programmer or paent controller, end the session. Refer to the
clinician’s programming or users controller manual for instrucons.
2. Press and slide the baery compartment panel outward to open the baery compartment and remove2.
