7. Slide the panel closed ush with the EPG unl it snaps into place.7.
NOTE:
When you insert the baeries, the indicator light is solid. You must wait unl the indicator light is
ashing or o to set up communicaon.
If you replace the baeries but the generator baery indicator on the clinician programmer app or
paent controller app indicates the baeries are low, make sure the baeries are inserted
correctly.
Checking the Status of the EPG Baeries
Check the status of the EPG’s baeries using the clinician programmer app or the paent controller app.
Refer to the clinician’s programming or users controller manual for these direcons.
NOTE: Baery life depends on usage and smulaon sengs, with baeries lasng at least 14 days under
nominal or praccal high output tonic sengs, with 500 ohm impedance and smulaon on for 16 hours
per day. (High output is based on actual paent use collected in
Abbo
Medical
clinical studies, not the
maximum device output.)
The following informaon provides general guidelines for the baery status:
The baery status icon on the clinician programmer app or paent controller app shows a decreasing ll
as the baeries are used.
A warning will appear on the clinician programmer app or paent controller app when the baeries are
crically low.
