▪ Smulaon will automacally turn o when the baeries cannot support smulaon. Replace the EPG’s▪
baeries to communicate with the EPG, turn smulaon on, change smulaon sengs, or retrieve
smulaon usage informaon.
NOTE: If the baeries deplete during a trial, instruct the paent to refrain from replacing the
baeries to avoid disturbing the bandaging and lead posion.
Seng Up Communicaon Between the EPG and the Clinician
Programmer and Paent Controller
Before starng the surgical procedure, set up communicaon between the EPG and the clinician
programmer and paent controller. The following steps outline the procedure for seng up communicaon.
For further instrucons, refer to the clinician’s programming manual.
1. Place the magnet perpendicular to and centered directly over the front of the EPG for 10 seconds.1.

Set up communicaon using the clinician programmer app or the paent controller app following the

direcons shown on the screen.
Aer seng up communicaon, the EPG is paired with that clinician programmer and paent controller. You
will not need to pair them again unless another paent controller or more than four clinician programmers
are paired to the EPG.
NOTE: Store paired EPGs and paent controllers together to reduce the number of mes you need to set
up communicaon.
