the amount of sugar (glucose) in dog or cat blood. The system

If the animal is experiencing symptoms that are not consistent
with the blood glucose test result, and all instructions have
been followed as described in the AlphaTRAK™ Blood Glucose
Monitoring System User Guide, contact a veterinarian/veterinary
surgeon.
H• ypoglycemia/Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar) values are:
Below 65 mg/dL (3.6 mmol/L) for adult cats and dogs.•

Hyperglycemia/Hyperglycaemia (high blood sugar) values are:•
Above 250 mg/dL (13.9 mmol/L) for adult cats and dogs.•

If low or high glucose values are obtained and there are no
symptoms of hypoglycemia/hypoglycaemia or hyperglycemia/
hyperglycaemia, repeat the test with a new test strip.
If repeated tests indicate low or high glucose levels and all
instructions have been followed as described in the AlphaTRAK
Blood Glucose Monitoring System User Guide, contact a
veterinarian/veterinary surgeon.
