Do not use the device or accessories if the packaging is wet, punctured, opened or damaged because the

integrity of the sterile packaging may be compromised. Return the device to Abbo Medical.
Environmental Hazards
Abbo Medical devices are equipped with special shielding and lters that signicantly reduce the adverse
eects of electromagnec interference (EMI) on the operaon of the device. However, high‑energy induced
or conducted currents can reset the programmed parameters and damage the pulse generator and ssue
surrounding the implanted lead electrodes.
Paents should be directed to exercise reasonable cauon in avoidance of strong electric or magnec elds. If
the device inhibits or reverts to asynchronous operaon while in the presence of EMI, the paent should
move away from the EMI source or turn the source o.
Advise paents to seek medical guidance before entering environments that could adversely aect the
operaon of the device, including areas protected by a warning noce prevenng entry by pacemaker
paents.
External Debrillators

The electronic circuitry in the device provides protecon from debrillaon discharges. Nevertheless, do

not place debrillator paddles directly over the device or pacing lead. Following debrillaon, ensure that
the device is operang correctly.
