Troubleshooting
Before calling the Service department, read the following information to determine the possible cause of a malfunction.
Malfunction Cause Solution
No power Mains cable not connected Connect the mains cable securely to the
No image ActiveX is not installed Install ActiveX (see p. 14)
USB port is not working Device is not supported Connect a compatible USB medium
(USB 2.0)
USB hub was used Connect the USB medium directly
No data on the SD card Data storage device incorrectly removed Use the Eject button to remove the data
storage device (see p. 26)
Network access not possible Network cable connection is loose Connect the network cable
Network settings are incorrect (DHCP,
IP address, etc.)
Check the network configuration and cor-
rect it, if necessary (see page 33)
Recording not possible No drive present Connect a drive and declare it as a stor-
age drive
