The test strip is stuck in the test
strip slot or the test drum does
not rotate. – Slide and release
to turn off the meter. Open
the drum door and, if applicable,
pull the test strip out of the
meter and discard it. Press the
red release button. Take the test
drum out and reinsert it. The next
time you slide and release
to turn on the meter and perform
a test, the drum symbol is
displayed and the bottle symbol
ashes. The 90-day use-by
period is no longer calculated for
this test drum.
The temperature is below or
above the range for performing a
test. – Slide and release
to
turn off the meter. Move to an
area where the temperature is
between 54 and 104 °F and wait
for the temperature of the meter
to adjust to this temperature. Do
not articially heat or cool the
meter.
Not enough blood or control
solution was drawn into the test
strip for measurement. – Discard
the test strip and repeat the test.
